‘The Great Indian Blog Train’, a joint venture of The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) along with the tourist departments of the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Karnataka, is stealing the limelight nowadays. 60 lucky aspiring bloggers from all around the world will get a chance to go on board to witness the grandeur and splendor of India’s royal past.

Embark on a 7N / 8D journey in four of India’s luxury trains namely, Deccan Odyssey, Palace on Wheels, Maharajas Express, and Golden Chariot. Bloggers will travel across the finest historical places all over India like Goa, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Tourists throng these destinations to gain complete insights into the history, heritage, and culture of the country.

Take a tour of the royal palaces and majestic forts of Rajasthan and walk through the enthralling Ajanta and Ellora Caves in Maharashtra. The glorious and rich past of India is sure to startle your inner senses. But wait! There’s a lot more to come. Another best part of this journey is that all this is accompanied by an ethereal ride and lavish accommodations within the luxury trains.

The much-anticipated tour will begin on 7th, 10th and 19th February 2018. To be a part of this event, all you’ve to do is fill in a registration form along with the necessary details. Post a thorough screening of the details by the appointed committee, the desirable candidates will go to the next level. At the second level, the selected bloggers have to submit an introductory video of a maximum of 2 minutes and a write-up in English on ‘Why you would want to visit India’. You should wind up this write-up in 50 to 100 words.

Further, the candidates also have to verify that they own a valid passport. The Ministry of Tourism will be covering all expenses related to travel, accommodation with meals, and both domestic and international air travel/ sightseeing tours from the commencement of the event till the end. However, all medical insurance, travel, or visa fees will have to be covered by the participants.
