A representative of IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation), the catering wing of Indian Railways, said “Kings are pampered to the limit and beyond. For instance, for those who wish to be on Hi-spirits, we have added 12-year-old Glenlivet and Johnny Walker Black labels as part of the house pours along with existing beverages”
Introduced in 2010, Maharaja’s Express has received various accolades for its state-of-the-art facilities and royal services. The luxury train has been awarded various accolades such as the CNBC Travel Award 2010, the CondeNast Traveler Award 2011, and the World Travel Awards 2012 & 2013 in the category of World’s Leading Luxury Train.
