The train, which starts in only a few hours from now, will embark on a total of 38 journeys this season, within the 2012-13 season spanning over the next 7 months. Maharajas’ Express is a venture of Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation. The train began its service in 2010 and since then has been the talk of the luxury travel segment. The train is considered to be the most luxurious in its category and comes equipped with state-of-the-art amenities.
