Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin

The first destination of the tour is the beautiful city of Cochin. On arrival here, our representative will escort you to the hotel where you can rest and get ready for an adventurous day of traveling around the city. Post lunch you can start off your trail and begin with the Cochin harbor. Situated on the mouth of the Arabian Sea, this is one of the best natural harbors in the world and a great place witnessing major trading to and from the area. The other attractions that you could visit while on the first day could include the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and the attractive Chinese fishing nets.

Day 2 Cochin - Munnar

If you thought Kerala is all about beaches and backwaters, think again. On the second day of your trip, we will take you on a voyage across the hills of Kerala to a fascinating destination that is Munnar. The spice plantations that Kerala is so famous for are available here in abundance. Visit the cardamom and tea plantations and experience nostalgic moments as you travel through the green blankets of nature on both sides of the way.

Day 3 Munnar

After your tryst with nature on the second day, reserve your third day of the tour to visit the other attractions of the place. Dairy Farm, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town, and the Eravikulam National Park are a few of the places to name. While exploring through the town, do not miss to notice the small mountain goats happily grazing fresh grass almost pretending as if they were exploring the beauty of nature too!

Day 4 Munnar - Thekkady

From Munnar, now on to Thekkady. This place is most visited by tourists for the Periyar wildlife sanctuary and what could be better than visiting this place enroute to covering the remaining attractions of Kerala? The resorts near the sanctuary offer themselves as the perfect base to check in and rest for a while before embarking on a wildlife sojourn across the woods. The large variety of flora and fauna housed within the sanctuary completely surprise the visitors. From birds to elephants and from monkeys to wild boars the names in this list are impressive. What less? One could also enjoy an evening cruise in the lake to complete the trip!

Day 5 Kumarakom - Houseboat

A trip to Kerala will be incomplete without a houseboat experience. On the fifth day, travel to Alleppey, the best place that offers traditional houseboats called the 'Kettuvalam'. The enchanting cruise onboard the Kettuvalam across Alleppey and Kumarakom is sure going to be an experience of a lifetime. Besides the natural beauty of the place, do not miss to also feast on the lifestyle of the natives here. Enjoy traditional meals while onboard and some very scintillating sunset and sunrise views.

Day 6 Kumarakom

To add luxury to the entire trip, spend a day in one of the best Kerala resorts located right on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. After the authentic houseboat experience, this is just the right way to bring the trip to a complete circle. One whole day in the laps of leisure and luxury, could one ask for more?

Day 7 Departure

The Taste of Kerala tour ends on the 7th day with our representatives escorting the guests to the Airport/ Railway Station to embark on the journey back home.
