Amer Fort is located at a distance of just about 15 km from Jaipur. This impressive fort was built by Raja Man Singh around 1592. This fort displays great artistic tastes of the ruler who ordered the fort to be built only in red and white sandstone. After Amer, your next stop will be Fatehpur Sikri. This walled city was once the Mughal capital and still resonates with the chivalry of the ruler who ruled over it and the noblemen who graced the courts of the ruler. Fatehpur Sikri offers itself as a classic example of the Hindu and Islamic architectural styles.

Day 12 Agra – Delhi

On the twelfth day of the tour, you will travel through some of the most significant attractions of Agra city. Boasting of Mughal heritage even today, the monuments housed here also tell a million tales of the days of yore. The foremost names that come to mind while taking about Mughal heritage are those of the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort and the Itmad-ud- Daullah. The Taj Mahal is a monument that testifies the love between Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Built of pure white marble, this is perhaps the only Mughal monument that is not made of red sandstone. After visiting these monuments, proceed towards Delhi; your final destination of the Rajasthan Program tour.

Located at a distance of about 200 km, reaching Delhi will take you almost 5 hours. On arriving here, enjoy your farewell dinner and head straight to the international airport for your flight back home.
