Union tourism ministry has come up with good news for the Indian medal winners in Commonwealth Games. All medal winners will get to ride on board some of the most luxurious luxury tourist trains in India. The Indian luxury trains for which the rides are up for grab are Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, the Golden Chariot and the Maharajas’ Express .
The trip will include travel, accommodation, food and sightseeing, which ranges from seven to eight nights. The sportspersons can avail the tickets anytime up to March 31, 2012. For the team events the ride will be offered to all members along with the coach. For solo medals the winner will be offered a ride along with one companion.
The move will come as a significant boost to the brand image as well as to the promotion of these Indian luxury trains across the globe as Commonwealth Games are being followed and watched around the world. There are 71 country and thousands of participants who are in India to compete with each other.
