Day 1 - Bangalore
On the 1st day of the tour, you will arrive in the city of Bangalore and tour through the city. Lalbag, Tippu’s Palace, and Bull Temple are a few of the noteworthy places that you could visit, while here besides of course enjoying a sumptuous meal at Citrus or Jamawar. In the evening at around 20:00 hours, you will assemble at the Yeshwanthpur Railway Station from where the royal sojourn waits to commence. Dinner will be served onboard the train.

By 23:30 hours, you will arrive in the first destination after Bangalore, Kabini.

Day 2 - Kabini/Bandipur
Breakfast will be served aboard the Golden Chariot before you will embark on journey to visit the jungles and wildlife environs of Kabini/Bandipur. By 01:00 hours, you will arrive in Kabini and post-lunch in the jungle lodge you will head straight to the Bandipur National Park.

In the evening you will return back to the Golden Chariot for dinner and overnight stay but not before you have also enjoyed the film on wildlife that will be especially screened for you.

Day 3 - Mysore
In the morning of the 3rd day, you will head towards Mysore, the next destination in line. Breakfast and lunch will be served for you aboard the train, while you will continue to travel to Mysore. The paddy fields that you will cross by, the natives of the area, and most importantly the natural beauty of the region will surely capture your senses forever.
You will arrive in Mysore by afternoon and immediately set off for sightseeing across the city. The attractions of Srirangapatna and the Brindavan Gardens are the locations you will visit on this day.
By 22:00 hours you will return back to the train after having a sumptuous dinner in the KRS hotel.

Day 4 - Hassan
On the 4th day of the sojourn, you will head towards Hassan, a popular Indian destination most noted for its religious significance. The destinations that you will visit on this day include Halebid and Belur and the famous Jain temple of Shravanbelagola. Return back to the Golden Chariot by 19:15 hours and prepare to leave for the next destination, Hospet.

Day 5 - Hospet
By 06:00 hours arrive in Hospet, the gateway to the medieval wonders of Hampi. Visit the topmost attractions of the place including the Virupaksha temple, the Elephants’ stables, and the local crafts bazaar. Return back to the train by lunchtime for a delectable meal waiting to surprise you. Later, by 15:00 hours leave the train to visit the remaining attractions of Hampi such as the Hazara Rama temple, Vittala temple, and the royal enclosure. Arrive in the train by 20:00 hours for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 - Badami
Early next morning by 05:00 hours, the train will chug its way out of Hospet towards Badami. Breakfast will be served onboard the train and by 09:00 hours you will arrive in the town of Badami. Leave the train and proceed towards the popular tourist attractions housed here including the Badami Caves and Pattadakal, and return to the Golden Chariot by 13:00 hours. Post-lunch leave for Goa, the highlight of all India travel options!
You can spend the rest of the 6th day exploring the luxury amenities of the train. Dinner will be served onboard the train before it will finally land in Goa, past midnight.

Day 7 - Goa
Begin your sightseeing trip across Goa early in the morning. Leave the train by 10:00 hours and start off the trail of Goa by visiting the churches and then proceeding to the Old Portuguese house - Sola Souto Maior. Enjoy savoring on tea and cookies while you marvel in awe at the artistic beauty of the house. Break the sojourn for a sumptuous Goan lunch before you head towards the Spice Plantation at Ponda. Reserve the late afternoon, 15:00 hours onwards, for some leisure at the Goan beaches. Swim in the cool waters, enjoy sunset views, relax in the warm sands or just take a stroll along the shore; the choice ultimately is yours. By 19:00 hours, return back to the Golden Chariot and prepare to leave for Bangalore, the final destination that marks the end of this royal sojourn.

Day 8 - Bangalore (Return)

Day 1 - Bangalore
Arrive in the silicon valley of India - Bangalore and embark on half day sightseeing trip across the city. The attractions like Bull Temple, Lalbagh, and the Palace of Tipu Sultan wait to welcome you to their midst. The lunch at Jamawar will surely be a splendid introduction for the culinary delights of the region.

Assemble at the Yashwanthpur railway station by 20:00 hours to embark on a weeklong journey that is waiting to begin. Day 2 - Kabini/Bandipur
Arrive in the next destination in the circuit, Kabini. Mostly visited for its abundant wildlife environs, Kabini is a pearl in the list of popular attractions in Karnataka. By 10:00 hours leave for sightseeing in the jungles of Bandipur National Park and return to the jungle lodge for a sumptuous lunch later. Day 3 - Mysore
Next morning by 08:30 hours you will arrive at Mysore, another popular Indian destination fondly frequented for its architectural heritage and enchanting gardens. Located just about 150 km from Bangalore, Mysore was once the capital of the state of Karnataka. The attractions that you will visit on the 3rd day of the trip are Mysore Palace, the Chamundi hill and the Palace of Tipu Sultan.
Reserve the evening for your visit to the Brindavan Gardens. The musical and colorful fountains of the gardens will more than make your day!
Dinner will be arranged for you in the Hotel KRS along with a musical extravaganza. This experience will help create sweet memories to cherish forever!
Return to the train by 10:00 hours for overnight stay and to travel down to Hassan, the next destination in the circuit.

Day 4 - Hassan
Arrive at Hassan by 08:30 hours, located at a 2 hours drive away from Mysore. You will land at the station after breakfast and immediately leave for visiting the Jain temple at Shravanbelagola. Since the temple is housed atop a hill, which can be reached after climbing over 700 steps, the train offers palanquin services at no extra cost for its guests. Adventure enthusiasts can opt to climb uphill and enjoy the scenic views besides offering prayers in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple as well. Return to the train for lunch and depart later on to visit the temples of Halebid and Belur.
Return to The Golden Chariot by 07:30 hours and enjoy a lavish spread of dinner especially prepared and served for you. Overnight stay in the train as you will travel to Hospet.

Day 5 - Hospet
Early morning by 06:00 hours you will arrive in Hospet, an excellent base for guests traveling to Hampi. Post-breakfast you will embark on trip to visit the ancient wonders housed within the architectural ruins of Hampi such as the Virupaksha temple, Queens’ bath, and the royal enclosure.
Return to the train for lunch and continue with your sightseeing trip across the region and this time to the Hazara Rama temple and the Vittala temple.

Day 6 - Badami
Badami is the last destination in the circuit before you will land in Goa. Proceed towards this location, early in the morning by 05:00 hours, which is situated at a distance of 120 km from here. Arrive here by 08:30 hours and post breakfast you can leave for sightseeing across the town especially to the attractions such as Badami Caves and Pattadakal. Return back to The Golden Chariot for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 - Goa
Arrive in Goa in the morning of the 7th day. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before you arrive at the Vasco Da Gama railway station. The team of the Golden Chariot waits to bid you adieu here.
