Day 1 - 2: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi on the first day of the Museum and Architecture Tour. Embark on half-day tours to the National Museum of Delhi that houses one of the most exclusive collections of artifacts and antiquities.

Explore the stately Mughal buildings housed in the city on the 2nd day of the tour like the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and the Humayun's Tomb etc. Do not also miss to view the beauty of Lutyen’s Delhi exhibited through the buildings housed especially in the New Delhi area.

Day 3: Khajuraho
On the 3rd day of the tour, proceed to Khajuraho to witness the medieval romance sculpted in stone! The western and eastern group of temples exhibit impeccable carvings that still continue to awestruck the onlookers. The Nagara style of architecture is unique and one of its kinds in the country.

Day 4 - 5: Agra
Early morning on the 4th day, drive down to Agra enroute visiting the attractions of Orchha.  Built in Bundelkhand style of architecture, the religious and heritage sites of Orchha forms itself as an important angle in the museum and architecture

Day 6 - 7: Jaipur
From Agra, drive down to Jaipur, your next destination in the museum and architecture tour. Visit the attractions of Fatehpur Sikri on the way that will give you an insight into the Mughal heritage of India. The monuments are fine specimens of the blend of Mughal, Hindu, and Persian styles of architecture. Arrive in the city by late afternoon and check into the hotel for unwinding yourself.

On the 7th day, drive down to Amer Fort, a great tourist attraction in the vicinity of Jaipur. Later on return back to the city and visit the Jantar Mantar, the City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal. Be prepared to be arrested by the charismatic beauty of the locations.

Day 8 - 9: Jodhpur
Jodhpur is a major site of tourist attraction in India and definitely a place not worth to be missed out on, on the architecture tour across India. Visit the topmost attractions of the place over the next 2 days that display great architectural styles patronized by the different rulers who ruled over here. The Mehrangarh fort, the Umaid Bhawan Palace, and the Jaswant Thada are a few of the important sites to name in the order.

Visit the Mehrangarh fort Museum while here to relish on the impressive collection of manuscripts, arts and artifacts housed there. These will give you a detailed insight into the heritage of the place.

Day 10 - 11: Udaipur
Travel by road to Udaipur, enroute visiting the Jain temples of Ranakpur. Arrive in the city of Udaipur by late afternoon and check into the hotel to refresh your weary souls. Before retiring for the day you can visit the local market area.

Begin the eleventh day of the tour with a trip to the City Palace complex that exhibits fine specimens of Rajputana architectural styles. A trip to the Saheliyon -ki -baari and the Jagdish temple will complete the tour for you.

Day 12 - 13: Aurangabad
On the 12th day, travel down to Mumbai and then to Aurangabad that is home to a number of architectural wonders including the Bibi ka Maqbara, the Aurangabad Caves, and the World heritage sites of Ajanta and Ellora.

Visit the excavated ruins of Ajanta on the 13th day of the tour, fondly frequented by guests for its impeccable cave paintings. Return back to Aurangabad for an overnight stay.

Day 14: Aurangabad - Mumbai
Explore the heritage sites of Ellora that comprise of the Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain temples dating back to the 4th and 5th centuries. In the evening, take the flight to Mumbai for the next leg of travel in the Museum and architecture tour.

Day 15: Madurai
Arrive in the first destination of your south India tour, Madurai. The direct flight from Mumbai will take about 2 hours to reach Madurai, leaving you with half a day of travel across the city. Therefore on arrival here, visit the Meenakshi temple mostly known for its religious significance as well as its unique south Indian temple architecture.

Day 16: Chettinad - Madurai
An important destination in the architecture tour, Chettinad is most fondly frequented for its celebrated mansions and residential properties that dot the town. Explore through the heart of the place before returning to Madurai for an overnight stay.

Day 17: Tanjore - Trichy
Post-breakfast drive down to Tanjore, a historical city and also a city with great religious significance. Housing over 70 ancient and medieval temples in its midst, no architecture tour in India can be completed without a trip to this enchanting city. The topmost attractions that you can visit while here includes the Brihadeeshwara temple, the Tanjavur Palace, and the Vijayanagara fort. All these places exhibit Dravidian style of architecture in its most exquisite form.

Proceed towards Trichy by late afternoon and before you retire for the day you can visit the Rock Fort temple housed here.

Day 18 - 20: Chennai
From Trichy you can take the early morning train to Chennai. Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and surely a significant destination in the museum and architecture tour of India. Stay in the city for the next 2 days and explore its temples, its beaches, its culture, and its cuisine like never before. From here you can also take a day-long excursion to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram located a few km from the city.

In the evening of the twentieth day, you will be transferred to the domestic airport in Chennai from where you will board the direct flight to Delhi. From Delhi you will take the connecting flight to your respective destinations.
