South India Wildlife Tour

Day 1: Arrival Delhi
The fascinating journey starts from your arrival in New Delhi. On arrival, you’ll be received by our tour representative and transferred to hotel where you’ll be staying overnight.

Day 2: Delhi
After a leisurely morning, you’ll be taken on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Delhi is one of the oldest living cities of the world. It’s where the heart of India throbs. With a diverse population and people from all cultures, creeds and ethnicities inhabiting in Delhi, it’s the window to the wonderland that is India.

You’ll be visiting famous sites of attraction including Qutb Minar, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Red Fort.
Night stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Bangalore
The sojourn now shifts to South India. You’ll be boarding a flight to Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, in the morning. On arrival in Bangalore, you’ll be escorted to Mysore, a 3-hour drive from Bangalore. En route, you’ll be visiting paradisiacal Vrindavan Gardens on Krishnrajasagar Dam and elaborate Mysore Palace.

Check into a hotel in Mysore on reaching for overnight stay.

Day 4: Bangalore - Nagarhole National Park
Today, you’ll be driven to Nagarhole National Park also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, 80 km from Mysore. On reaching check into a resort here. Afternoon is slated for an exciting jungle jeep safari. Enjoy the thrill of being in the thick of jungle amidst wilderness in its raw form.

Return to hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Nagarhole National Park
Nagarhole Park or Rajiv Gandhi National Park is one of the most exquisite wildlife reserves in India. This day, you’ll be exploring the national park. Other activities include bird watching, boat cruise in river Kabini, elephant and jeep safari.

Retire to your hotel after a weary day of adventure in the jungles.

Day 6: Nagarhole National Park - BR Hills
The sole activity today is trekking and exploring the forests. Enjoy the sight of wild animals and breathtaking vistas of the valley. Return to the camp for dinner and night stay. You’ll spend night in special tents.

Day 7: BR Hills
This day is entirely dedicated to exploring the wilderness and viewing the avifauna. Trek in the jungles. You’ll escorted by expert naturalists. Retire to your hotel after a day full of adventurous activities.

Day 8: BR Hills - Bandipur National Park
Following a zesty breakfast, you’ll be driven to a resort in Bandipur. Enjoy the sumptuous lunch here before setting out for jungle safari. Spend the day in jungle, exploring the exotic wildlife.

Night stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Bandipur National Park
Explore the wilderness during the day. Night is scheduled to be spent at the hotel.

Day 10: Bandipur National Park - Ooty
During the day, you’ll be driven to Ooty, 80 km from Bandipur. Ooty served as the headquarters of Madras Presidency during the British era. The weather is pleasant around the year and the hill station offers breathtaking views of tea plantations and eucalyptus jungles.

You’ll be arriving in Ooty sometime in the afternoon. The day is at leisure. Unwind and relax in the comfort you’re your cozy room or explore the breathtaking Ooty.

Night stay is scheduled at hotel.

Day 11: Ooty - Munnar - Eravikulam National Park
Today, you’ll be driven to Munnar, an exotic hill station and spice capital of Kerala. Enjoy the drive as the sight of lush green tea plantations wash you over. You’ll also be visiting Eravikulam National Park.

Overnight stay is scheduled at a local resort.

Day 12: Eravikulam National Park - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Morning, you’ll be taken on a jungle safari in the Eravikulam National Park. Explore the exquisite flora and fauna of the Park. In the afternoon, you’ll be heading for Periyar. Following a 30hour drive to Periyar, you’ll find yourself checking into a jungle resort.

Retire to the comfort of your hotel.

Day 13: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Today, you’ll be enjoying an exhilarating boat cruise in the morning and evening. During the day, explore the sanctuary. The sight of exquisite birds and playing elephants is incredible. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Kumarakom
In the morning, you’ll be hitting the road to Kumarakom. The 5-hour drive will be exciting winding through the lush green palm jungles. On arriving Kumarakom, check into a hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the surroundings and enjoy the breathtaking views to the hilt.

Night stay is scheduled at hotel.

Day 15: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
Today, enjoy and enthralling backwater cruise. Also pay a visit to exquisite Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 16: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - Kochi - Onward Destination
This is the last day of your unforgettable sojourn of South India Wildlife. You’ll be taking a 3-hour drive down to Kochi. At Kochi, you’ll be visiting famous attractions of the city including Jew Street and Synagogue, Fort Kochi, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, and Museum.

Later, you’ll head to airport to catch the flight back home.
