Day 1: Arrival Delhi
North India with Nepal Tour takes off with your arrival at Delhi. On arriving at New Delhi airport, you'll be received genially and escorted to the hotel where you'll spend night.
Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur
This day after breakfast, you'll be taken on a combined city sightseeing tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Explore the places of interest which will include Rashtrapati Bhawan or President House, Parliament House, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, among others.
Later, during the day, you'll be heading to Jaipur, visiting en route Qutb Minar, the highest brick tower in the world. Night stay is scheduled at a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur
In the morning, you'll be taken on an excursion to Amber Fort. The fort-palace of Amber is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture and artistry. The fort is perched atop a hill. You'll enjoy jeep ride or elephant ride to reach on the top.
In the afternoon, you'll also get to see other splendid buildings such as Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds, City Palace Complex, a rich blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture with sprawling courtyards, gardens and monuments, Jantar Mantar or the Royal Observatory and colorful bazaars. Retire to the hotel for night stay.
Day 4: Jaipur - Agra
This day, you'll be hitting the road to Agra. En route, visit the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar - Fatehpur Sikri. The attractions here include Bulland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, the Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan, Jama Masjid and Salim Chishti's Tomb.
On arriving Agra, sign into a hotel. In the afternoon, visit the splendid Agra Fort and its associated buildings. Also visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, the sheer poetry in marble built in by Shah Jahan in memory of his consort Mumtaz Mahal. Witness the grandeur of the monument of love in the light of setting sun.
Night stay us scheduled at the hotel.
Day 5: Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho
In the morning, you'll be transferred to Agra Cantt railway station to board a train to Jhansi. From Jhansi, you'll be further driven to Khajuraho, the temple town of medieval age. On reaching Khajuraho, you'll be required to check into a hotel for night stay.
Later in the afternoon, you'll be escorted to visit the world famous Kama Sutra temples which depict Hindu gods and goddesses and scenes of everyday life right from plowing fields to amorous relations. You'll be visiting Eastern and Western group of Khajuraho Temples including Javeri Temple and Parsavanatha Temple. Night stay is at the hotel.
Day 6: Khajuraho - Varanasi
The morning is kept free for you to explore Khajuraho on your own. In the afternoon, you'll be boarding a flight to Varanasi.
On reaching, check into a hotel and relax for a while. Later you'll be heading to Sarnath, one of the most sacred Buddhists places. Visit here the Buddhist relics and ruins of the yore. Visit the Sarnath Stupa, Archaeological Museum and Ashoka Pillar. Return to the hotel in Varanasi for night stay.
Day 7: Varanasi
Early in the morning, you'll be enjoying an exciting boat ride on the river Ganges. Explore the Ghats and witness people offering rituals. During the day, you'll get to visit Kashivishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, and Banaras Hindu University. Relax and unwind in your hotel for the rest of the day. Night stay at hotel.
Day 8: Varanasi - Lumbini
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini, 325 km from Varanasi. Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha situated on the Indian border in Nepal. On reaching, check into a hotel and retire to your room for next day's activities.
Day 9: Lumbini - Chitwan
Take a short sightseeing trip of Lumbini including Ashoka Pillar, Buddhist temples and museum. Later, you'll be driven to Chitwan, 170 km away. On arriving, check into a Jungle Resort. Spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy the night at jungle lodge.
Day 10: Chitwan - Kathmandu
In the morning, take a nature walk with a naturalist. Also explore the Chitwan National Park. Take Jeep or Horse Safari.
Later, you'll be heading to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The drive will take 5 hours from Chitwan to reach. On reaching, check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11 - 12: Kathmandu
Kathmandu boasts of myriad of attractions for tourists. In the morning, you'll be visiting Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the most sacred Buddhist shrine in Nepal. The stupa is believed to be older than 2000 years. The shrine is sitting on a 77-m high hill, 3 km to the west of the city and offers breathtaking views of the valley. Situated on a 77 meter high hillock and 3 kilometers to the west of the city of Kathmandu, the site also presents a magnificent view of the valley. The site is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Retire to the hotel after the day's expedition.
The next day, you'll be visiting the Boudhanath Stupa, another sacred Buddhist site, 8 km to the east of city. This is the biggest Stupa in the world and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Also visit the Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to lord Shiva considered amongst Hindus one of the holiest shrines. The shrine has a 2 tier golden roof with silver door. This is also a UNESCO heritage site.
Take a tour of Bhaktapur in the afternoon visiting places of interest such as Durbar Square. Retire to the hotel for night stay.
Day 13: Kathmandu - Delhi
Morning is kept free for you. In the afternoon, you'll be driven to airport to board a flight to Delhi. On arrival, you'll be escorted to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy an Indian Dance Show and a sumptuous dinner. Night stay is scheduled at hotel in Delhi.
Day 14: Departure from Delhi
This is the last day of your North India Nepal Tour. You'll be driven to International Airport to board a flight back home.
