However, before you arrive in the city of Taj, you will also get a chance to visit some of the equally known architectural wonders of this region like Fatehpur Sikri. This erstwhile fortified city was once a capital for the Mughal empire and even today houses some of the most remarkable monuments dating back to the Mughal era. The Buland Darwaza, the Jama Masjid, the Panch Mahal, and the Birbal Bhawan are a few to name in the order.
Day 6: Agra – Bhopal
Early morning, head towards the Agra railway station to catch the direct daily Shatabdi train to Bhopal. It will take you almost 6 hours to reach Bhopal from Agra, and therefore you will be left with little time to explore the charisma of the city, the very day you land here. So keep your afternoon for spending some time in leisure, at the same time also reserve some time for a quick visit to the Lakshmi-Narayan temple and the Taj-ul-Masjid, also known as the ‘Pink Mosque’.
Arriving in Bhopal means that your Golden triangle tour has ended and now will start off the next leg of the tour – the tour across central India.
Day 7: Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal
Sanchi is a great pilgrimage center primarily for the Buddhists, nevertheless also explored by people belonging to other faiths. History of this place can be traced back to the 3rd century BC and visitors interested in knowing about Indian history and architecture must make it a point to visit this place.

Post your sightseeing of this place, you will travel back to Indore for the overnight stay.
Day 10: Indore – Mandu
