Day 01: Chennai
On day 1 of the Golden Triangle tour of Tamil Nadu, you will arrive in Chennai and meet our tour executive. He will be responsible for your safe transfer to the hotel. You will have ample time to relax and rest for the remaining part of the day. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02: Chennai
On the second day of the golden triangle tour itinerary of Tamil Nadu, you will be escorted to local sightseeing tour of Chennai paying visits to some of the renowned tourist attractions that include Fort St. George erected in 1640 AD, Kapaleeswar Temple and Marina Beach. In the afternoon you are free to go for shopping. You will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 03 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Today in the morning you will head for Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is the beautiful city replete with good number of monuments and pristine beaches. Enroute you will halt at Kanchipuram which is counted amongst the 7 holy cities of India. Here you will encounter elegant temples that flaunt refined Dravidian heritage. On reaching Mahabalipuram, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 : Mahabalipuram
Today an early morning visit to Shore Temples of Mahabalipuram which are also degignated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Attractions here include Mahishasurmardini caves, The Five Rathas that boasts 5 monolithic temples of different patterns, and The Shore Temple. Savor the beauty of the monuments during sunset when they look more stunning and impressive. Later return for your overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Chennai
The Golden Triangle Tamil Nadu ends today with your transfer to Chennai where after an exciting shopping tour you will be transferred to the airport to fly to next destination.
