Package Itinerary

Day 1 - 2: Chennai
Begin the Exclusive South India tour with Chennai, the capital city of the state of Tamil Nadu. On arrival in the city our representative will meet up with you and escort you till the hotel. Retire for the day early so that you can embark on the city tours, early next day.

On the 2nd day of the trip, travel around the city. Visit its prime attractions like the Marina Beach, the St. George’s Fort, Santhome Cathedral, and the Kapaleeshwar temple. Each of these attractions will enable you a glimpse of the spirit of the city and its people.

Day 3: Chennai - Bangalore
On the 3rd day, you will move out of Chennai and into another beautiful city - Bangalore. Known for its modern yet traditional ambience, Bangalore is one of the most popular cities in South India. The train ride from Chennai to Bangalore will take you almost 5 hours, leaving you with half a day for sightseeing. Therefore, you can embark on city tours post lunch. Visit the city attractions like Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, Lal Bagh Botanical gardens, and the Bull temple.

Day 4: Bangalore - Mysore
Proceed from Bangalore to Mysore on the 4th day of the Exclusive South India tour. Mysore is most popular for the Vrindavan Gardens, an enchanting garden fitted with musical fountains and colorful lights. Known as the 'City of Palaces', do not miss to visit the palaces housed in the city while you are here. The Mysore Palace, the Jagmohan Palace, and the Lalitha Mahal are the foremost names to be mentioned here.

Enroute to Mysore, you can also visit the attractions of Srirangapatna like the Srirangapatnam Fort, Daria Daulat Bagh, and the Sri Ranganatha Temple.

Day 5 - 6: Mysore - Ooty
Begin your 5th day with a tour across the palaces of Mysore and then proceed towards the Chamundi hills that houses one of the most sacred temples in the city - the Chamundeshwari temple.

By afternoon travel to Ooty, your next destination in the circuit. On arrival check into the hotel that has been pre-arranged for you. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Reserve the 6th day of the Exclusive India tour for sightseeing in and around Ooty. A quaint hill station, Ooty displays mesmerizing natural beauty through its gleaming streams, vast stretches of tea and coffee estates, and also lush greenery that completely refresh ones’ body and soul within. While here, do not miss to visit the Botanical gardens that houses a number of rare trees, shrubs, and flowering plants. The different hues of green in the garden will rejuvenate your senses for sure.

Day 7: Ooty - Cochin
From Ooty in Tamil Nadu to Cochin in Kerala… yes that is the destination that you will now head towards. Cochin is a significant port in the western coast of India and is most visited for its picturesque backwaters and medieval churches. Throughout the day you can visit the attractions like the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and most importantly the Chinese fishing nets that give a face to the city!

Day 8: Cochin - Periyar
From Cochin, travel down to Periyar for its lush greenery and abundant wildlife. Visit the Periyar wildlife sanctuary to capture some unmatched natural visuals of the tigers, Nilgiri tahrs, and a selection of bird varieties in their very natural habitat.

Day 9 - 10: Periyar - Kumarakom
On the 9th day morning leave towards Kumarakom, but not before enjoying a boat ride on the Periyar. The early morning sights of the Periyar will forever remain fresh in your minds!

On arrival in Kumarakom you will be greeted by our representative and taken to the hotel. There you can unwind yourself before you set out on city tours. Kumarakom is best visited for its natural beauty. The Vembanad Lake, backwater cruise, and the water bird sanctuary are the most important sightseeing options that you can explore while here.

Day 11: Kumarakom - Alleppey
On the eleventh day morning leave for Alleppey, another significant destination in the backwaters tour. Stay in a houseboat, cruise through the backwaters, get an insight into the traditional ways of life of the people here, and most importantly treat your eyes to gorgeous natural visuals like never before...

Day 12 - 13: Alleppey - Kovalam
Proceed from Alleppey to Kovalam that is located 158 km away. Kovalam is a beach town in south India and is most visited for its quiet ambience. Besides the beach there are quite a few attractions also located in and around Kovalam that you can explore during the 2 days that you will stay here. Excursions to the Padmanabhapuram palace, the Anchutengu fort, and the Koyikkal palace can be undertaken from here.

Day 14: Kovalam - Mumbai
This is the last day of the Exclusive South India tour and you will today travel back from Kovalam to Mumbai from where you will travel back home. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 15: Mumbai
Spend the day in leisure and in the evening you will be transported to the airport for your flight back home.
