Castle Tour Rajasthan

Day 1 - 2: Delhi
Arrive at the New Delhi International airport and be greeted by our representative who will then escort you till the hotel that has been pre-booked for you. Surrender yourself to the comfortable interiors and retire for the day early.
V Next morning, which is on the 2nd day of the tour, embark on sightseeing tours across the city. Visit the prominent attractions of the city including the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s tomb and the India Gate. All these destinations will give you an assorted image of the spirit of the city!

Day 3: Delhi - Samode
On the 3rd day of the castle tour of Rajasthan, proceed from Delhi towards the Samode. Samode is the first destination in the circuit and is most popular for the impressive Samode Palace as well as its nearby villages that offer one a great insight into the heritage of the state.

Day 4: Samode - Mandawa
Mandawa is famous as the 'open art gallery of Rajasthan' owing to its delicately designed havelis and palatial properties. Visit the Goenka haveli, the Murmuria haveli, and the Jhunjhunwala haveli while here.
Day 5: Mandawa - Bikaner

On arrival in the city of Bikaner, visit the attractions like the Lalgarh Palace, the Junagarh Fort and Museum, the Karni Mata temple, and the Camel breeding farm.

Day 6: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
From Bikaner, drive down to Jaisalmer located at a distance of 240 km away. Arrive in the city and spend the rest of the day in leisure. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer hotel.

Day 7: Jaisalmer
Known as a jewel of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer houses in its bosom a number of monuments that will make this tour for you all the more special. The Patwon ki haveli, the Gadisar Lake, the Jaisalmer fort, and the Sam sand dunes are the topmost attractions housed here.

Day 8: Jaisalmer - Rohet
Drive to Rohet and arrive here by noon. Embark on half day tour across the tribal villages of Rohet to understand the heritage of the place. A jeep safari across the villages will enhance the pleasures of your castle trip.
Day 9: Rohet - Kumbhalgarh

The next destination that you will arrive at, after Rohet, is Kumbhalgarh. Known for housing the grand Kumbhalgarh fort, the place is also visited for its wildlife sanctuary. Visit the mighty fort and see for yourself how a medieval wonder still stands tall to narrate the tales of the bygone era!

Day 10: Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur
Drive down from the wildlife environs of Kumbhalgarh to the scenic landscapes of Udaipur. On arrival in the city, visit the attractions- Sahelion ki baari, Jagdish temple, the Bharatiya Lok kala Mandal, and the City Palace complex.

Day 11: Udaipur
Embark on excursions to the nearby destinations surrounding Udaipur. A trip to the Eklingji temple and the Nathdwara temple seem to be the most ideal ones.

Day 12: Udaipur - Bijapur
One of the most important destinations in the castle tour of Rajasthan is the Castle Bijapur, located near Chittorgarh. Converted into a heritage hotel, this castle still manages to awe inspire the onlooker right at the very first glance. Stay overnight in this hotel and explore the modern amenities housed here.

Day 13: Bijapur - Pushkar
Drive down to Pushkar from Bijapur and arrive in the city by noon. Visit the Brahma temple and the bathing ghats to offer prayers to the almighty. A very revered place for the Hindus, Pushkar is also visited by people belonging to the other faiths.

Day 14: Pushkar - Jaipur
Reach Jaipur in the morning and start off your sojourn across the city. Visit the topmost attractions housed here including the Hawa Mahal, the Jantar Mantar, the City Palace complex, and the Birla Mandir complex. Overnight stay in the Jaipur hotel.

Day 15: Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, proceed towards the Amer Fort, located at a distance of about 15 km from the Jaipur city. An elephant ride till the entrance of the fort and a leisurely stroll around the main attractions of the fort will complete the castle tour of Rajasthan for you. Spend the evening in leisure and explore the sights and sounds of the city at your own pace!

Day 16: Jaipur - Agra
Leave for Agra on the sixteenth day of the tour, the last destination in the circuit. Enroute, halt at Fatehpur Sikri and treat your eyes to some grand visuals of the Mughal monuments housed there including the Buland Darwaza and the Panch Mahal. On arrival in Agra, visit the world famous Taj Mahal, a monument that epitomizes the love between the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You can also make a quick tour in and around the Agra fort, another significant monument dating back to the Mughal era.

Day 17: Agra - Delhi
Post-breakfast return back to Delhi, to embark on your journey back home. The fond memories of the castle tour of Rajasthan will linger on in your mind forever...
